Over 30,000 public accounting firms are enrolled in the AICPA Peer Review Program which requires a review of their firm every three years. Firms have peer reviews because of the public interest in the quality of accounting, audit and attestation services provided by public accounting firms. Also most state boards of accountancy require licensees to undergo a peer review in order to practice in the state. HSMC Orizon not only complies with the Peer Review Program, but we also have two professionals, Gene Garrelts and Jodi Rinne, who perform these reviews. Also, Gene serves as Chairman of the administrative board for a four state region and Jodi recently completed a term on the AICPA National Peer Review Board.
